okay, my hair is relaxed but i'm pretty sure that i'm going to stop relaxing it and just flat iron it more frequently. Um I've wanted a hair cut for awhile but I get really nervous about these things and I am super picky. I always worry about making the wrong decisions and making other people happy but I can't worry about that anymore. I showed about four people this cut and got two different reactions. Please let me know what you think. If it's a yes, please tell me what to ask the stylist for. Thanks.

I think that style would look good from what you said. Ask your stylist to cut side-swept bangs. Ask he/she to cut it at an angle so it's longer in the front and shorter in the back. If they don't give you what you want, don't worry about it!! Your style will be perfect. Hope that helped!!

I love it! It's adorable! Make sure to tell the stylist to use the razor tool on the ends so they'll lay like that. It's also really important for that cut to pick where you want your part to be before she cuts it. It could make a big difference if she parts it in a different spot than you plan to style it. You may need to continue to use relaxer as well as a flat iron, just a little less. I think the style would work with your face perfectly. Good luck!

take this photo with you to the stylist so she knows exactly what you want. This way there won't be any questions regarding the length and style, if you're feeling apprehensive about her abilities to do it, stop right there and thank her for her time. The consultation should be free, nobody should have to pay for something that they don't feel comfortable with

I think it's super cute! I have a haircut similar to that (it goes longer in the front with the shorter back and side bangs).
So, I am a little biased, however many people have complemented me on my hair. I do love this cut because I don't have a defined jawline, so the way the hair angles on the side gives the impression of a defined jawline. It would be super cute on you because you actually do have a nice jaw line.
However, because your hair is cut a bit shorter in the front, it will be a little harder to get this style. Your bangs seem to be cut very far into your hair line, so you won't have the same hair as the picture you brought in.
When you go to the salon, say you want an 'angular' cut with the front a little longer than the back. Bring in the picture, it will speak better than your words. The stylist can then work that cut into your current hair. Point with your hands how long you want your hair - i recommend that you have the layers end at your jaw, or a little longer - not much shorter.

I say go for it! Be strict with your hairdresser though. Tell her specifically how long you want your hair. If you want more cut off, tell her. The stylist won't take offense. If you feel her going 'chop-happy' tell her to stop! You're better to tell her to leave it 1/2" longer than you actually want, and then have her trim more if you still aren't happy (it beats having your hair cut 2" too short!)
